This document constitutes the Terms of Service ("TOS") for Greed of Man("platform", "we", "us", or "our"), an online multiplayer game. By using our services or accessing our website, you, the User, agree to be bound by the terms and conditions outlined in this TOS.

The TOS outlines the rights and responsibilities of both you and Greed of Man concerning the purchase and use of our products and services. By accessing or using our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the TOS, and any other policies and guidelines set by us.

The TOS is effective as of June 29th, 2023. We reserve the right to update or modify the TOS at any time, and such changes shall be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Your continued use of our services following the posting of any changes to the TOS shall constitute your acceptance of such changes.

Please note that when referring to the Visitor, they may be referred to as "you", "your", "player", or “member”.

Service Availability and Quality

We are constantly improving our Game and Services. No guarantees are made concerning the Services or the Game’s quality, stability, uptime or reliability. 

We reserve the right to suspend or ban Your access to the Services at any time and for any reason. You may not reverse engineer the Services or Game. You may not use automated tools to access, or interact with, our Services or Game. Each user of the Services or Game may only have one account.

We reserve the right to investigate complaints or reported violations of our Terms of Service and to take any action we deem appropriate including but not limited to reporting any suspected unlawful activity to law enforcement officials, regulators, or other third parties and disclosing any information necessary or appropriate to such persons or entities relating to user profiles, e-mail addresses, usage history, records of communication, IP addresses and traffic information.

Age Requirements

By accessing the Services, You confirm that You are at least 13 years old and meet the minimum age of digital consent in Your country. If You are old enough to access the Services in Your country, but not old enough to have authority to consent to our terms, Your parent or guardian must agree to our terms on Your behalf.

Please ask Your parent or guardian to read these terms with You. If You are a parent or legal guardian, and You allow Your teenager to use the Services, then these terms also apply to You and You are responsible for Your teenager’s activity on the Services.

Your Information and Greed of Man account

By using the Services, You may provide Greed of Man with personal information like Your email address, user name, and billing information. Our privacy policy can be found at https://www.greedofman.net/privacy-policy 

To access the Greed of Man game, you will need a Steam account. Your username is provided through Steam. You must also provide a valid email address. 

You are responsible for the security of your account, and you agree to notify us immediately if you believe your account has been compromised. If you believe something could make your account more secure in terms of the service we provide to you, please contact us at support@greedofman.net 

You must always provide accurate information to us and maintain the accuracy of the information associated with your account. We may assume that any communications we’ve received from your account or the associated contact information have been made by you and that any purchases made using your account were made by you.

If you get locked out of your account, we’ll need to contact you at the email associated with your account. If your account is compromised or you no longer have access to your email account, we may not be able to restore your access to your account or the servers you’ve created.

You agree not to license, sell, or transfer your account without our prior written approval.

Restrictions on your use of our services

When using our services, you must comply with these terms and all applicable laws, rules, and regulations, and you must only use the services for authorized and acceptable purposes. Fundamentally, do not do, try to do, or encourage or help others to do any of the following:

• Don’t harm yourself or others. Among other things, this includes trying to gain access to another player’s account or any non-public portions of the services or game or gaining access to or attacking our systems, abusing or defrauding us or our payment systems, infringing anyone else’s intellectual property rights, exploiting, harassing, bullying, and spamming. As well as misusing our reporting or support mechanisms. 

• Don’t use the game or services to attempt or commit anything else that’s illegal. This includes using the services to plan or commit any crime or illegal activity outside of the game in the physical or digital world.

Termination of your Greed Of Man account

You’re free to request the deletion of your account and data by emailing support@greedofman.net from the email attached to your account. 

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and/or your access to some or all of our services with or without notice, at our discretion for the following reasons:

• You breached these terms or any additional terms that apply to specific products.

• We’re required to do so by a legal requirement.

• We believe termination is necessary to prevent harm to you, us, or others.

• Your account has not been interacted with for 2 years.

Community Guidelines

• Do not promote, coordinate, or engage in harassment. We do not allow harassing behavior such as sustained bullying, ban evasion, doxxing, or coordinating server joins to harass players or staff.

• Do not threaten to harm another individual or group of people outside the game. This includes direct, indirect, and suggestive threats.

• Do not organize, promote, engage, or support violent extremism or illegal behaviour. This includes glorifying violent events or the perpetrators of violent acts, as well as promoting conspiracy theories that could encourage or incite violence against others.

• Do not share content that glorifies, promotes, or normalizes suicide or other acts of physical self-harm. Self-harm acts or threats used as a form of emotional manipulation or coercion are also prohibited.

• Do not share false or misleading information (otherwise known as misinformation). Content that is false, misleading, and can lead to a significant risk of physical or societal harm may not be shared anywhere on the platform.

• Do not engage in activities that could damage/compromise the security of an account, network, or system. This includes using or distributing malicious software and flooding a network with traffic to make a resource unavailable (denial-of-service attacks). 

• Do not abuse the platform(Greed of Man) or the game in any way. Such as selling/purchasing accounts and modifying the game/server code to bypass certain actions. 

• Do not mislead staff. Do not make false or malicious reports on our mod mail, email, or any other method of communication. This can include sending multiple reports about the same issue or asking a group of users to report the same content or issue. 

• Any violations of these rules may lead to bans from our services. We are not a democracy. Behave respectfully or lose Your rights to use our platform or services.

• Respect all rules as part of the service you use. This includes our Discord servers and game servers.

• Do not share, encourage, or use any exploits, cheats, cracks, and loopholes. This includes abusing bugs. Any exploits should be reported to staff immediately.

• Do not impersonate other streamers, celebrities, government officials, Greed of Man staff, or anyone else. This includes using a voice changer or mod to sound like someone else, to defraud, deceive, or to aid in harassment.

• Do not scam others. Do not take advantage of fellow players. Scams are prohibited, including seeking account information and buying or selling accounts or personal information.

Refund Policy

Greed Of Man offers refunds for certain products and services under certain conditions. Refunds are available for anything purchased on the Greed of Man website within 3 calendar days of the initial purchase. Refunds will only be issued for initial orders and only if we are unable to resolve any issues that the customer may be experiencing. Renewals and orders found to violate our TOS will not be eligible for refunds, even if requested within the refund window. 

Limitation of Liability

• Severability. If any part of this Agreement is invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the rest of the Agreement will remain in effect.

• Force Majeure. Neither party will be liable for failure or delay in performance to the extent caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including acts of God, natural disasters, terrorism, riots, or war.

• No Agency. This Agreement does not create any agency, partnership, or joint venture between the parties.

• Survival. The sections and obligations in this Agreement that a reasonable person would expect to survive this agreement, will.

Agreement to Policies

The User agrees to abide by all policies set forth by Greed of Man. The User acknowledges that these policies may be updated from time to time and that continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any updated policies. The Subscriber should review these policies periodically, as they may be updated from time to time.
